Partnership with Learning Happens
The Peel College of Professional Studies is pleased to announce an official partnership with Learning Happens, a Licensed Childcare Agency. Learning Happens can help you open your own home childcare business. A home childcare cannot be directly licensed by the Ministry of Education in Ontario. However, one can become a provider to a licensed agency like Learning Happens and become a licensed home childcare. Learning Happens is owned and operated by Nadia Nazeer, a professional Early Childhood Educator with all the relevant credentials required in the childcare sphere and has many years of experience in the field.
The partnership means that Peel College's Early Childcare Assistant Diploma (ECA) graduates have an additional opportunity to be gainfully employed by starting their own business after completing their Diploma. Apart from spreading education, Peel College would like to empower women by helping them become entrepreneurs.

Funded by the Government of Canada, Achēv’s Accelerating Career Advancement program facilitates financial loans for Internationally Trained Individuals who are looking to return to their chosen profession. Expenses covered include tuition, books, material, travel and living expenses.
